A Legacy of
Compassion.

The Captain Centre operates as a Centre of Excellence in Education and Research, Sustainability and Sustainable Development Advocacy. For 8 years, we've provided private basic education to orphans and underserved children.

Drawn from families who often live on less than $1.25 per day, our pupils are shining examples of what students can achieve when given the opportunity to receive a quality education.

From Research to
Real Impact.

Initiated after two years of research in Ahanta West, Captain Schools addresses social challenges like teenage pregnancy and school dropouts due to poverty. Children who face poverty and social pressures would otherwise be unlikely to complete their schooling.

Significant disparities exist in the support systems for children. We provide free tuition to those most vulnerable — orphans, children with single parents, the disadvantaged girl child, and children from low-income households.

We adopt value-added innovation and next-practice approaches in all we do to ensure holistic development. Our specially trained teachers know that a child learns not only through the head, but also through the heart and hands — through painting, music, drama, and crafts.
